Every time I run the virus scanner on my hard drive, it always finds the same 2 files the first time. This would be a good thing, as they are Phishing files, but the bad part is that they have already been quarintined... several times. Each time I scan, it just re-quarintines the files, and keeps going.
I don't think this should really hurt my computer, but it says to me that there is something not quite right going on, so I figured I would post about it and see what can be done.
Just so you have some more information, here is what the scanner puts out regarding these 2 files:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\.clamwin\quarantine\infected.0AFB9CCFd01.000.000.000: moved to 'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\.clamwin\quarantine\infected.0AFB9CCFd01.000.000.000.000'
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\.clamwin\quarantine\infected.7C73A39Ed01.000.000.000: moved to 'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\.clamwin\quarantine\infected.7C73A39Ed01.000.000.000.000'

This is normal, as you are unable in ClamWin to exclude any directory (including the Quarantine directory) from its scans. You could set your ClamWin General Preferences to Report Only instead of Quarantining files, although your scan reports will still show the file as suspected malware every time it is scanned. On the other hand, you could also just delete the file and not have to worry about it any more.
Finally, I'm not sure if this will work, but you might remove all the similar files from your Quarantine directory except the very first one(s) that ClamWin found and filter that file type to be excluded from scans. I believe ClamWin names a suspected malware file something like InfectedFilename.000 when it puts it into Quarantine. So go into ClamWin preferences and filter file *.000 to be excluded from scans.
I hope this helps you.
