VirusTotal has developed a handy automated script that can be run to upload a suspected file containing malware to them for checking against their 30 or so virus programs (including ClamWin). Once installed, you navigate to the suspect file on your computer, right click on the file, select the Send To menu, then Send To VirusTotal, and it will be sent to VirusTotal. You will receive an answer via your Web browser. I downloaded it, but doggone it, I haven't gotten any viruses yet to try it out!

Go to the VirusTotal Web site to read about the uploader or download it. If you download it, be sure to select both installation options or you will not be able to right click on the file.

ClamWin team: you might check about integrating this with version 1.0 or see if the ClamAV team will do something like this to facilitate sending them suspected malware.
