I installed clamwin on my father's PC a while back, and he's been enjoying the freedom from the constant cash grabbing. Yesterday, he told me that he was asked to pay to have some viruses cleaned. I told him "No way, Clamwin is free. They won't hold you ransom like the other guys do." I went to his house, and saw the screen. It wasn't Clamwin. It was MacroVirus from https://www.macrovirus.com/ https://www.macrovirus.com/!
I downloaded the latest ClamWin, and ran a full scan for him, and now I got the following email from him today:

After the Clam scan, I found the following message, when I got back to the computer this morning: "You've got 12 malwares on your system. To get rid of them click 'buy now' ". The header for that message is macrovirus.

Has anyone else come across this?
I guess I'll have to do a complete uninstall of clamwin, and reinstall. But, how can I be sure that the version of clamwin I am running is really "THE" clamwin?
