I've noticed that there are many databases available on the Web dealing with security. For instance, Castle Cops has several--dealing with bad active X objects, CLSIDs, service providers, protocol hijackers, bad dlls, and several others. Figuring out a way to use some of these resources in ClamWin could increase its functionality and provide it with some of the capabilities of a security "suite," thereby increasing the number of users.

Well, you are certainly right--you have to maintain your focus. I'm pretty sure you guys will come up with something, however, and since I'm not a programmer, I'm focusing on the future.

I hope clamwin 1.0 will not be considered as "vaporware", right now we have a working code and a gui, but currently we don't have much effort to speed up development

I've seen the Wiki--it's coming along. Let the users know if there's anything we can do to help. For instance, a special donation to hire someone to do development full-time. If you need some special code to do something, you might ask if any open source guys out there already have something you could use.
