Hello, I've had problems when trying to update my fresh new installation of Clamwin on a Windows XP machine. I've tried first with the automatic updates, and the new windows noticed me of being 564 versions behind. This is the log:

Then, I tried to install the virus database by myself, following the guide of the site which told me to go to the page: http://database.clamav.net/main.cvd. But when doing so, it gave me an "Access denied error".

I got an error when visiting database.clamav.net/main.cvd.

I've tried to reinstall ClamWin, but it had no effect, and I continue to have the same issues. Is there a way I can fix this? Thank you in advance to whoever will answer this.

Not sure if this will help, but delete every file in the ClamWin database and then do a manual database update.

Also make sure there is no application blocking ClamWin--firewall, another AV, other security product.

If that doesn't work, make sure the ClamWin Tools preferences updates is set to do automatic updates, set the frequency to hourly, and to start at the time you usually turn your computer on. Leave it alone for a half day or so and see if it updates.
