The ClamWin developers prepare a Windows port of the free Clam Av program for Linux email servers. ClamWin relies upon the Clam AV scanning engine and signature database. The port is made without any changes to the Clam AV Linux code except any changes needed to accommodate it for use on Windows computers. The ClamWin developers do not have time to do anything else for a free antivirus with no budget.

There would need to be changes made to the ClamWin source code to accommodate a permanent cache for the Clam AV signatures. Other changes also need to be made to make it more of a modern AV program. There have been a few efforts made to get professional programming assistance with no results.

Of course, if you are a talented C ++ programmer, you could be of assistance.

Regards,
