I've used the product for a year and never had to config a Proxy (i haven't got one). If i do what should I set proxy setting to?

try the following things:
1. Check your firewall settings and alow freshclam.exe network access 2. Do a database update and paste your update log 3. Change the database servers to: db.local.clamav.net db.XX.clamav.net (XX is your country code, like US, AU, DE, etc) and try database update 4. If that fails, then please check if you can download the following files in the browser: http://database.clamav.net/main.cvd http://database.clamav.net/daily.cvd |
