Lost over 7000 files into guarantine....
Restore tool does not work on WIn2000 (NT) server --> not a valid win-32 application.
I think(!!), I found the log-file....
Any way I can automatically recover instead of doing it manual?

Welcome to ClamWin!

Since this thread was originally made, the ClamWin developers have added a utility program called QRecover that lets you restore a file from quarantine. Of course you would only do this for a file that has been falsely quarantined that does not really have a virus. To access the QRecover program, Start, All Programs, ClamWin Antivirus, Quarantine Browser. You can also run the program by going to the ClamWin program folder, bin subfolder, and click on QRecover.exe. Operation of the quarantine browser is fairly intuitive, but let us know if you have any problems with it.

Of course, after restoring a file from quarantine, you should visit the Clam AV web site and report a false positive detection of the file, so that Clam will "fix" the signature. Until the signature is fixed, ClamWin will still quarantine the file every time it is scanned, so you may want to exclude that file from scanning in ClamWin's configuration menu, Filters tab, Exclude Matching filenames.

If ClamWin works for you, then QRecover should also work. Have you ever used it before this? Did you run it from the ClamWin folder or do you have a desktop icon for it?

Additionally, ClamWin is designed for a standalone computer. If you are on a network, it has not been tested very well in that environment.

Open Windows Security.
Select Virus & threat protection and then click Protection history.
In the list of all recent items, filter on Quarantined Items.
Select an item you want to keep, and take an action, such as restore.

You are mixing Microsoft Defender (formerly Windows Defender) up with ClamWin. Your post will do no one any good. ClamWin has noting to do with Windows Security. ClamWin is a separate software program, and Windows does not keep track of anything it does.
