I searched for info on this combination, but did not find it.

Does anyone know if clamwin can be configured (or vice-versa) to work with Zimbra Desktop? I mean in the active sense, not passive scanning.

(for those who do not know it, Zimbra Desktop is a powerful general purpose e-mail client, its part of VMware now, formerly a Yahoo OSS project).

I use both my own and 'outside/isp' mailservers. I have has great success with clamwin for scanning e-mail (I use it both on mailservers and with Outlook) and I use Zimbra (very happily) to manage the dozens of e-mail accounts I monitor for support.

If I missed something obvious, please forgive me -- my 'perfect' avatar is not up right now... LOL.

Thanks in advance.

I can't help with email scanning per se, but the ClamSentinel front-end to ClamWin will scan files on your computer as they are added, modified, or copied. It is a separate project from ClamWin, but it is free and available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/clamsentinel/ on the web.
