Hi,

when do you plan to add the on-access scanning component ?

I think it is really a must have for such a product.

Eric.
PS. : good work for ClamWin, really a good idea/work.

Depends, I prefer scan manually, each week for example, to make my machine slower, if they can use active scan, without leaving my computer like i were using panda, then ok, but if the speed of my systems drops, i would prefer not to use it, but well, i think the best solution, is to implement it, and an option to deactivate the active scan, so each user, can see how it works on his computer, because there are computers more powerful than others, and decide himself to switch it on or off, so let say yes, with an option to deactivate it, for slow computers. it will be the best, at my point of view, more features, and more configuration for them.

Thanks.

In Developer Blogs, Mick indicates that there is a 'very alpha' version in development. I currently have a comertial Anti-Virus so at the moment I have a system that is appropriate for testing 'alpha' code and would like to help but how do I get a copy of the 'very alpha' code to experiment with it ?
