Autoupdate feature

Updating manually to the newest clamwin version is tedious with the many releases coming out.

Especially for users like my grandparents etc, who aren't good at dealing with updating their software.

Virusscanners are an essential piece of software that should be update-to-date at all time.

Therefore clamwin should follow in the footsteps of Mozilla with an Auto-update feature.

Any thoughts?

I've used a bit mozilla updater and yes it can be used to make autoupdate feature, I've already talked with alch, but this feature need some tests, I'll try soon it with clamav.
Mozilla updater needs to be hacked a bit since it seams to lack MoveFileEx stuff for locked files to be replaced at reboot.
Also I'm not sure this can be used on win9x since mozilla dropped support for win9x (although the updater should work,
but win9x doesn't have MoveFileEx and the "replace at next reboot" function is handled using ini files)

It is possible to check if win9x is used and then possibly disabling the autoupdate feature for
these clients.

This is also a small pushback motivation for clients to jump to a newer operatingsystem.

Mozilla autoupdater would be a great addition.
