You can verify a false positive detection by uploading the file in question to Virus Total. If Clam AV is the only one detecting something, it is likely a false positive. I like to see at least 2 of these AVs detect something: Avira AntiVir, Bitdefender, Eset Nod 32, Kaspersky, or Sophos. You should report false positives to Clam AV so they can change the signature for us.

Be sure to submit the false positive file and the virustotal results to ClamAV false positive support which can be found here: http://www.clamav.net/contact.html Allow a few days for them to fix the false positive. You can exclude the file for now, and then remove it from the exclusion system in about a week or 2.
